You got a great little blog just sitting on the net. Now what?… If you have been following along so far, you should have by now:
- A Wordpress blog that shows off who you are
- Valuable content that makes your visitors come back for more
- A way to monetize that will make you laugh and giggle all the way to the bank
- Some Google Analytics code installed that allows you to see who is making the journey
- Made your mouse click on my RSS feed button
Show Me the Traffic. It’s time to get some visitors here please!
Enter blog traffic 101:
I’m gonna make this simple for you :) It does take some work! :( But the fruit of your labor will pay off! Alex Jeffreys reccomends this method as one of the best ways to get traffic to a blog.
1. Create a list of 200-300 or so blog sites you decide to blog to regularly. It just makes sense to pick blogs with a higher Alexa ranking http://www.alexa.com. If you don’t know already, Alexa is a site that ranks websites according to traffic. If a site gets more traffic, having your link on it can bring you more traffic. No Einstein math involved here! Pick sites that get more traffic in order for you to get more traffic!
Some great places to start out are http://blogsearch.google.com - just type in your keywords to find related blogs and http://www.winningtheweb.com- great for the internet marketing niche.
Simply put your list in Excel or Notepad.
2. Set up a routine to visit these blogs, and leave comments regularly. Don’t expect to post just once and see some amazing results! Remember it does take some work.
Do not spam the blogs with your comments! Ie. don’t just simply say great site and leave a link to your site. Respond to the article, respond to someone elses question, or ask you own related question. After related content is left, then give the link to your site. I have found out that using it in a p.s. statement works quite nice.
You will get traffic from this if you do it regularly. People will see you as adding value to the post and will want to click on your site.
Get some practice by posting here :) Just Click on the comment button below.
Yours in Success,
Paul Moore

You need traffic to survive online… Your site without traffic equals a mall without any customers. The stores will simply go out of business because no one goes inside!
Enter the traffic challenge…
Alex Jeffreys just started a competition for his students. The winner will receive $1,000 cash. Talk about motivation!
The winner is the student who drives the most traffic to their blog in two weeks.
So, my next few blog posts will talk about traffic. I will discuss what I do to drive traffic to this blog.
How will I get this traffic?
Here’s a small sample of what I intend to use:
Article directories
Classified ads
Traffic exchanges
Forums
Social bookmarking sites
Social networking sites
This new site has attracted a minimal amount of traffic so far (just other Alex Jeffreys students), but over the next few days I will use the sources above to start driving traffic to it.
I will tell you exactly what I did and how it worked out for me.
Stay tuned…

Ok you have your blog.
Congratulations! It’s time to make some money!
What do I do first?
First, you need to type in some content related to your niche. Pick a niche related to what you know and enjoy. Your content will just flow from you if you choose a niche you are interested in. Feel free to research online, but definitely provide content rich value. Alex Jeffreys blog at marketing with you has added value for me. Without value, your visitors will not come back! If they don’t come back or opt into your list, you are just wasting your time.
This blog deals with the internet marketing niche and will reveal my path to success online. Alex Jeffrey says to start out in the internet marketing nich because you will need skills in internet marketing in order to market online in any niche!
Once you have your content, you can monetize by selling your own product or by becoming an affiliate marketer to products related to your niche.
The most important thing to do is to build your business up by building an opt-in mailing list.
We will go over this in greater detail in future posts… such as giveaways Alex Style.
After you have your content and profit system in place, it is time to generate traffic.

Mr. Alex Jeffreys says that a blog is an important tool to have. He even compares it to a profit-pulling oilrig. It is a great way to build a following of people and an excellent source of online income.
But just how do I get one? The blog you are looking at right now is a Search Engine Optimized blog created by Jeff Johnson’s free software. This is the link: http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/main.php. It includes easy to follow directions on making your blog with wordpress. It was so simple, I had mine up and running fast.
It just so happened that I receive an email about the software the exact time I needed to make a blog. Talk about fate!
You will need a hosting service that comes equipped with cpanel. I recommend Hostgator as I have been a customer of theirs for some time now. They come with 24/7 live support and will help you with putting up a blog.

Take action and get your blog up immediately!
We will be discussing all the ways to monetize with your blog in future posts.
