On Page Seo

Posted by admin under Main Content

We will address the basic steps of on page search engine optimization in this post.

What is on page search engine optimization?  Search engine optimization (Seo) can be broken down into two parts - on page and off page. You need to master these to get excellent free organic traffic from search engines like google.

Steps for on page seo:

1. Keyword Research - Optimize each of your pages for a particular keyword or keyword phrase.  First, choose your keyword. Make sure that the keyword gets traffic.  ie. Use google’s keyword research tool to see that it gets a good amount of traffic.  Usually anything over 1,500 visitors per month is good. Here it is: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

2. Title Tags - Each web page has a title, and it is at the top of your browser.  You will need to change your title tag to your keyword or keyword phrase that you chose in step 1.  This is different to do in various html editors.  Some are located under page settings.

3. H1 Headings - Put your keyword in the H1 Headings.  These are the main headings on your site.  An example would be to write a heading at the top of your page including your keyword.  Use the html editor to make sure it is enclosed between opening and closing H1 tags.

4. Meta Tags - Check into how to edit your meta tag using your html editor.  This is the description that shows up when someone does a google search for your keyword.  Type a description that will pull the reader in and click on your site.  Use your keyword in this meta tag as well.

5. First 50 Words - Make sure to use your keyword in the first 50 words of your page.

6. Keyword density - Work your keyword into the text on your site so that it is used at 1% or higher.  Make sure it sounds natural to read. A 1 - 4% keyword density will work just fine.  So use the keyword around one to four times per every 100 words that are on the page.

7. Page File Names - You will see the page file name in the address bar after the domain name.  Use your html editor to find out how to include your keyword as the page file name.

8. XML Sitemaps / Google Sitemaps - These help the search engines see all the pages on your site better. There are two kinds of sitemaps: ones that site visitors use and ones that search engines use.  Use your html editor to check into these XML/Google sitemaps.  So, create a search engine sitemap and upload it to your site.

9. Internal Linking - Internal links are links on your site that go to other pages on your site.  Use your keywords for any relevant internal links on your site. Don’t just type “click here”. Rather, use the keyword as clickable text to go to the page that is optimized for the keyword.

This is just a brief overview of becoming better at on page search engine optimization.  Use it as a checklist to help.

Even more important that on page optimization is off page optimization.

We will go over off page optimization and backlink building next post.

Listbuilding (Giveaway Style =)

Posted by admin under Main Content

GIVEAWAYS ARE THE FASTEST AND CHEAPEST WAY TO BUILD YOUR LIST.

You can actually participate in them for free.

Simply find a giveaway, upload your gift, then reap in the stream of new opt-in subscribers.

I just made a new blog dealing entirely with giveaways. It will locate them for you and give great tips: http://www.TheOfficialGiveawayGuide.com/

So how does a giveaway work?

Easy. Use http://www.TheOfficialGiveawayGuide.com/ to help you find giveaways then upload your gift.  Each giveaway site will give you detailed instructions on how to upload your gift.  People will download your gifts and in doing so join your list.

What if I don’t have a gift?

Here is a great site that gives you free ebooks and reports for you to use for your gift: http://www.butterflyreports.com/axz/affiliate.php?id=19657 It is free.

I have added a new product to this blog, Big List Bucks (The List Building Supercourse).  Make sure you get it as it will walk you step by step on what to do with this list.  I was charging $47 for it, but now you may access the entire course for free.  This is only for a limited time!

We will be addressing more on giveaways a little on down the road, but if you want a huge head start I recommend Giveaway Riches.  It is the best Giveaway Guide out there by super guru Jason James: http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=960605

My very first giveaway ever gave me over 100 subscribers in less than a week.  Coach Alex Jeffreys says that you won’t ever have to work again if you can get 2,000 opt in subscribers.  The list he built from giveaways earns him over $20,000 per month.

Do not delay! Start your giveaway journey today!

Yours in Success,

Paul Moore

The Big Damn Online Secret

Posted by admin under Main Content

What is this secret you ask?

It was revealed to the coaching students in module number 7, titled the same as this blog post.  I will reveal it to you now…

While it’s not the biggest secret, it is the one that keeps people from having the most success.

There is actually more than one…

In order to succeed online, you must first plan offline!  That’s right, without a map you will not get anywhere.  Countless times, I have just sat down in front of the laptop without a plan of action and just found myself wasting time.  Your time should be broken down into focused blocks. ie. 1 hour of traffic generation.  Then do that for the 1-hour without distractions.

Online marketing takes time and effort.  People are entering into it and giving up on it just as easily.  The winners are the ones who stick with it and choose not to fail.

Online marketing is multilevel.  It involves planning projects.  Creating products. ie. an e-book. Also, it involves a marketing process and sales funnels.

You must draw traffic and keep adding value to it in your sales funnels. (See my below posts on getting traffic and adding value)

Every successful person has endured failure, and in this business the same rule applies.  Keep failing until you succeed.

Look at what my mentor, Alex Jeffreys, has to say about his 2007 earnings.

The Triple Threat Affiliate

Posted by admin under Main Content

What happens next in our free coaching? Module 6 deals with list building and email marketing.

You need to build a list!  Listbuilding should be the main focus, and in order to build a list, you need traffic.

Here’s a simple process:

1. Create an ebook / report

2. Create a squeeze page that gives away the ebook / report

3. Give value to your traffic

4. Direct traffic to your opt in box on the squeeze page

5. Build a relationship with this subscribers list

6. Promote to your list (not garbage, but items of value you know are good! )

So what exactly is The Triple Threat Affiliate?

It is a nickname given to Alex Jeffreys by one of his peers for his unique email marketing method.

This method is as follows:

When you send out an email message there are three types of people-

1. People who don’t open the email

2. People who open but don’t click on the affiliate link

3. People who open and also click on the link in the message

A new feature in Aweber http://www.marketingwithpaul.com/recommends/aweber/ allows you to send specific emails to each of these three types of people.

For the people who didn’t open, you can change the subject title to get them to open.  For the people who opened but didn’t click, you can say hey I noticed you opened but didn’t check out the offer yet, make sure you check it out.  For the people that open and click, you can say hey I saw you check out the offer, hurry before it’s gone.

Alex was getting a 20% open rate and a 10% click through rate, but after the Triple Threat Affiliate technique it jumped to 50% and 30% respectively.  Wow it really works!

Remember: the number one thing in email marketing is to tell your story.  Don’t burn your list out selling garbage.  Always try to get a special discount for them.

Yours in success,

Paul Moore

P.S. We will be addressing these topics farther in future coaching sessions.  Make sure to RSS feed.

P.S.S. Make sure you get your free profit pulling platform, it you hadn’t yet.  Just type your name and email on the upper right.

Free Coaching Take 2…

Posted by admin under Main Content

In my last post I revealed to you what is going on in my current coaching program with Alex Jeffreys, a student of Rich Shefren and Mike Filsaime who makes over $20,000 per month online.

This post continues to unfold the coaching program for free for you.

Ok… so where are we?

This brings us to module number 5 in the program:

>Do not pimp your blog- It is important that when you attempting to drive traffic to your blog, you should’nt force it upon people. Let them see you add value to the blog you are commenting on and they will come to your blog!

>Look at what you did that worked- After a period of driving traffic goes by, stop to check and see what works.  Look at your Google Analytics to see where your traffic is comming from and apply the 80/20 rule.  In other words focus your time and attention commenting on the blogs that are giving you traffic!

>You should look into getting traffic from forums (see my forum freak post), writing articles on your topic (ezinearticles.com), and commenting on blogs.

We also covered video traffic…

It is important to create videos in this era of online marketing as video marketing converts much better than plain text.

We went over the importance of putting videos on youTube and other video sites.  This can be a huge traffic generation method.

I will cover what to do in your videos on a future post very shortly.

Yours in success,

Paul Moore

P.S. Alex Jeffreys says that if you get two thousand people on your list, you will never have to work again.  The next module will cover this.
